1972 Stock

Built for the Northern line and moved to the Bakerloo, these are now the oldest trains in daily passenger service in Britain. They were refurbished in 2016–18 to keep running until about 2035.

Status
In service. Peak frequency has been cut from 22 to 20 trains per hour because of poor fleet availability. Replacement depends on TfL exercising its Siemens option (deadline 1 November 2026).
